The model sports the current livery of the Dassault Aviation demonstration aircraft. The Falcon 2000 is a twin-engine wide-bodied transcontinental corporate jet with a capacity of up to 19 passengers. The prototype made its maiden flight on 4 March 1993 at the hands of Jean Pus and Guy Mitaux-Maurouard at Bordeaux-Mérignac (Gironde, France). Built in cooperation with the Italian firm Alenia, the Falcon 2000 benefits from Dassault Aviation’s 30 years of experience in corporate aviation as well as its expertise in combat aircraft. The Falcon 2000 shares the diameter of its fuselage, its wing design and certain circuits and equipment, such as the landing gear, with the Falcon 900. The result: an aircraft that serves as a highly comfortable, ultra-fast and economical flying office for many multinational companies. The Falcon 2000 can transport eight passengers at Mach 0.8 for a distance of 5,555 km. The power comes from the famously efficient Pratt&Whitney Canada PW308C engines, while the aircraft also benefits from a new-generation EASy cockpit. FalconEye, the first head-up display (HUD) to combine a synthetic vision system (SVS) with an enhanced flight vision system (EFVS) is now available on this aircraft. Its cabin size, range, flexibility and fuel efficiency make it the market leader in the Super Midsize segment.
