Included is a sheet of decals with which you can customise the aircraft (Registration numbers, wing and squadron insignia) together with a “clear and complete” notice. Customisation is quick and easy. The standard version of the Mirage F-1 as used by the French Air Force, the Mirage F-1 C is optimised for air defence in all weathers and all altitudes. After the delta-winged Mirage III/5/50, it marked a return to the traditional format with a swept wing and tail assembly, with increased acceleration capabilities. This was made possible by technological advances that enabled the manufacture of an ultra-thin wing assembly offering comparable smoothness to the delta wing in supersonic flight. The fuselage is built in a single piece to enable maximum fuel storage. The Mirage F-1 C has seven load points below the wings and fuselage, enabling it to carry a range of different loads. The basic weapons array comprises two 30 mm cannons and two Matra Magic missiles mounted on the wing tips. The Mirage F-1 entered service with the French Air Force in 1973.
