nEUROn - 1:48 Scale Model

The nEUROn programme, led by Dassault Aviation, is the European technological demonstrator programme for unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs), preparing for the future through the pooling of knowledge and skills from countries across Europe (Italy, Sweden, Spain, Greece and Switzerland). The aim is to implement and validate complex new technologies covering every aspect of mission systems, from high-level stealth and piloting to air-to-ground weapons launch from an internal hold, integration into a C4I environment, and innovative manufacturing cooperation processes and so on. The first test flight took place on 1 December 2012 and will be followed by two years of further trials.
