This model kit comes with a decal sheet and application guide, allowing you to customize the model by choosing from aircraft registrations, squadron insignia, and unit markings of the French Air Force.
A multirole combat aircraft, the Rafale is produced in both single-seat and two-seat versions. Different variants exist for the French Air and Space Force (AAE) and the French Navy, although they share 95% of their components. The Rafale C is the single-seat version for the AAE, equipped with features enabling it to carry out a wide range of missions (true multirole capability).
With an external payload capacity of 9,500 kg and a versatile weapons system, the Rafale C can perform missions that previously required several specialized aircraft: air superiority and air defense, close air support, deep strike, aerial reconnaissance, anti-ship strike, nuclear deterrence, and more.
In service with the AAE since 2006, the Rafale has proven itself in combat in Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom), Libya (Operation Harmattan), and more recently in counterterrorism operations in the Sahel-Saharan region (Operation Serval), as well as in Iraq and Syria from bases in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates (Operation Chammal).
The Rafale has also been exported to Egypt, Qatar, India, Greece, Croatia, the United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia.
