It is a supersonic jet attack aircraft originally used by the British Royal Air Force and the French Air Force in the close air support and nuclear strike role, and exported to many countries.
Its legacy endures through aircraft still in service in some air forces and its influence on the development of modern fighter jets.

This aircraft was initially developed as a native Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 add-on, but your enthusiasm convinced us to bring it to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 as well. This shift required a complete rethink of our approach, a challenge we fully embraced to ensure the Jaguar could thrive on this platform.

The Dassault Alpha Jet, the result of Franco-German cooperation, is an iconic military training aircraft, notably used by the Patrouille de France. Reproduced with a high level of realism for flight simulators, it offers a deep immersion experience thanks to an interactive cockpit, faithful avionics, an optimized flight model, and sounds recorded on real aircraft.

Designed in the 1970s by Dassault-Breguet and Dornier, 512 Alpha Jets were produced for ten air forces. Equipped with Larzac engines and offering excellent maneuverability, it entered service in 1979 and has now logged over one million flight hours.

Jointly developed by AzurPoly and Jet Fighter Experience, the Rafale will soon be joining Microsoft Flight Simulator as an official Dassault Aviation product. This module stands out for its high level of visual and technical fidelity, the result of in-depth work on shapes, textures, effects, and flight systems. It is one of the most ambitious projects carried out to date around modern fighter aviation in the simulator. Among the most emblematic aircraft of French aviation, the Rafale has naturally established itself as an essential reference. Its development required a renewed approach, with a constant focus on precision and consistency. Scheduled for release in late 2025, the Rafale will be available on PC and Xbox via the official Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace.
