Mirage 2000C - 1:48 Scale Model

Included is a sheet of decals with which you can customise the aircraft (Registration numbers, wing and squadron insignia) together with a “clear and complete” notice. Customisation is quick and easy. This is the French Air Force standard version. The first aircraft carried out its maiden flight in1982, at Mérignac. The first French Air Force squadron was operational from July 1984. The Mirage 2000 C aircraft, also called Mirage 2000 DA (for défense aérienne i.e. air defence), were equipped with the Snecma M 53-5 engine, then the M 53 P-2, with Thomson-CSF multi-mode Doppler radar and the Matra Super 530 missile. In 1986, the French Air Force received pulse Doppler radar, designed for the air-defence mission. A total of 124 Mirage-2000 Cs were built for the French air Force.
