The Rafale omnirole combat aircraft is produced in single-seat and two-seat versions. Different models are made for the Air and Space Force and the Navy, although 95% of the components are shared. The Rafale C is the single-seat version for the Air Force, with capabilities that enable it to perform all types of missions (omnirole aircraft). With a 9,500 kg external load capacity and multipurpose armaments system, the Rafale C can carry out a broad range of different missions requiring the use of various types of specialist equipment: air superiority and air defence, air support, long-range strikes, aerial reconnaissance, anti-shipping strikes, nuclear deterrence, etc. In service with the Air and Space Force since 2006, the Rafale has proved itself in combat in Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom), Libya (Operation Harmattan) and more recently in the fight against terrorism in the Sahel (Operation Serval), as well as in Iraq and Syria from Jordan and the United Arab Emirates (Operation Chammal). The Rafale has also been exported to Egypt, Qatar, India, Greece, Croatia, the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia. The RSD livery was applied during the 20214 demonstration season. The RSD livery was applied during the 2023 display season. The graphics were created by Régis Rocca and produced by the staff of the Structure workshop of 15.004 Haute-Marne technical support squadron, stationed at BA 113 in Saint-Dizier. The display pilot for the 2023 season was Captain Bertrand Butin, aka "Bubu", an instructor pilot at the Rafale transformation squadron ETR 3/4 Aquitaine, under the direction of Captain Jérôme Thoule, aka "Schuss", who was the display pilot in 2021-2022. The aircraft was presented at the 54th Paris Air Show and was nicknamed the "Black Seven II". Important Notice: This is a detailed scale model intended for adult collectors. It is not a toy.
