The Dassault Mirage IIIC is a single-seat fighter plane made by Dassault Aviation in France. It is a single-engine, delta-winged jet with all-metal construction. A total of 870 Mirage IIIC aircraft were built in several different versions in the years from 1956-1982. The fighters were used by the armed forces of many countries around the world. It was made under licence in Belgium, Switzerland and Australia.
Substantially modified versions of the fighter were also made in Israel and South Africa.
