Made under licence from Dassault Aviation, this 1:48 scale model of the Mirage IIIS is made entirely from 453 COBI construction bricks and is suitable for both play and display. The design of the aircraft has been improved in relation to the previous Mirage 2000 model. With its highly detailed reproduction of even the smallest details, it will fit perfectly in the collection of any modern military aviation enthusiast. The model uses only high quality durable printing. The aircraft has many moving parts, including the undercarriage, wing fins, cockpit hatch and weapons. The set includes an original pilot figurine that can be placed in the cockpit. The set also includes a special display stand with a plaque showing the name of the set.

This Mirage was made under licence by a factory at Emmen in Switzerland. Extensive changes were made to the plane, including a much more powerful airframe and the adoption of American avionics. Two versions of the aircraft were produced: the Mirage IIIS, built as a fighter, and the Mirage IIIRS reconnaissance aircraft, in which the nose radar was replaced with a set of cameras. Only 36 fighters and 18 reconnaissance aircraft were built. They served in the Swiss Air Force from 1967 to 2003, eventually giving way to the F/A-18C, which is also available from COBI.
